Getting Personal

Wow. The first post on my personal blog in almost a year. Hopefully the first of many as I transition into full-time writing. I'm thinking Media Mondays are going on the schedule, the first day of the workweek to make sure all the websites are up to date, and go from there.
All references I can find to Micron Technology now have me listed as 'former', and I bought my first two pairs of non-ESD shoes in over eight years last week. The outplacement services intro webinar is tomorrow morning, and I look forward to the use of the LHH training to enhance my current business as well as open up possibilities for another job that I wouldn't be able to turn down.
Sales of Journeyman Warsmith have cooled from the frantic pace of the first month, but are still amazing, dragging new sales of Apprentice Swordceror back up to relevant levels.
Construction of a new MTG cube will soon be underway, details to follow on the Magic Day! blog.

Had a nice evening with some of the gang from Systems Integration Saturday evening before BSU's stunning loss. Luckily we left early before things got ugly at the Crescent. The fact that I no longer work there is beginning to sink in, for all of us. It's a strange feeling, having been constantly employed since I was 19, and now this.

It's all starting to feel real.
